Sport is a strong social and cultural force, which connects people regardless of nations, races and languages. The Olympic Games are an expression of sport that stages human beings’courage and determination .Both sport and art can elevate our perception and help us reach our own physical and mental limits—and overcome them with dedication, passion and inspiration.
Initiated by adidas,71 artists were invited to create works under the theme of “humanity and sports” to showcase the spirit and passion of the Olympic Games through their talents.
Through painting, sculpture, video, photography and interactive installation, this exhibition is designed to explore the contemporary relationship between sport and art, the complexity of which deserves to be investigate further.
